EMSPEC 89ND and 89SS switches have a proven performance in 7FA Gas Turbine Enclosures around the world. Operated by EMSPEC MR90GT motor operator, all parts of the switch and operator are made from machined billet materials.

89ND switch features

High strength chromate plated steel base frame;
Reliable silver plated copper contacts and hard drawn copper blades,
Shaft mounted auxiliary contacts;
Operated by motor operator via push-pull aircraft grade cable (passes under transformer or resistors);
Motor operator is installed next to enclosure door which allows manual operation from outside the GTE;

89SS switch features

High strength aluminium base frame;
Reliable silver plated copper contacts and hard drawn copper blades;
Shaft mounted auxiliary contacts;
Operated by motor operator via steel linkage;
Motor operator is installed next to enclosure door which allows manual operation from outside the GTE through an access trap;

Heavy duty motor operator

EMSPEC MR90GT was designed to meet the most severe applications. Situated near the GTE doors, manual operation is done from the exterior via a new door mounted access trap. Local electric operation is either performed on the front of the operator or via the optional remote control panel. The motor operator does not require greasing.
